Obnoxious Breaking News!  Bishop Eddie Lee Long has died at 64!  We are waiting on further details, but calls have poured in from all over the country that he passed this morning.  According to former members that worked in the music ministry at New Birth, Kevin Bond and Byron Cage.  The troubled Bishop has in fact died.

OBNOXIOUS BREAKING NEWS! Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God…….I Said I Wasn’t Going To Tell Anyone, But I Couldn’t Keep It To Myself……Obnoxious Media just received word that Bishop Eddie Lee Long – who has recently been in the news and on our blog – has what is being described as AIDS. Obviously, since we are not able to confirm that 100%, we’re going to leave it as an “Obnoxious Report!“. Let’s clear, we are NOT suggesting, nor implying, that we have access to Bishop Eddie Lee Long’s medical records nor do we know his “true” diagnosis.  

However, this is what we do know – Bishop Long has been publicly and privately accused of being bi-sexual (publicly: the five young men came forward and admitted their sexual relations with the infamous Bishop; privately: his church admins walking in on him bending “men” over in his office with the KY Jelly on the desk). In the public lawsuit, four of the five men sued him, and Eddie settled out of court for an undisclosed amount of money: It was rumored they were paid $20 million dollars (Ha! The lawyer was paid the most and left the boys eligible for food stamps). In the past, Eddie Long has purchased countless numbers of cars, homes, paid rent, sponsored shopping sprees, etc., for young men in Atlanta but was more partial to college men.  

 It was painful watching him on Steve Harvey’s talk show promoting a book he could not and would not talk about due to legal obligation. Unfortunately, his body is doing all of the communicating these days if you have seen his last video paying homage to “good health” while looking like a billboard for everything but. Recently, while having dinner at one of my favorite eateries with some prominent clergymen, our table was bombarded by an anonymous source who wanted the undivided attention of Sir William, and, in a very humble and polite manner, asked if there was room at the table to join us. Quite naturally, we opened a space to accommodate this person, and it was shared that as a faithful member of New Birth that they had a great deal of respect for Bishop Long and pleaded with me to take it easy on the bishop due to his having cancer (Code Alert: Cancer will ALWAYS be the culprit when it’s really AIDS, but that’s just my opinion). After a couple of confirming phone calls and text messages, it was proven that the source is very reliable. It was explained that Bishop Long has cancer (hmmph) in his digestive system and it was discovered in the 4th stage and he literally has months to live. 

This person went on to say that Bishop felt the need to do the “healthy living” video since he was wasting away and had been absent from the pulpit for nearly 3 months. He now needs assistance from his wife, Vanessa, to walk in and out of the services. Bishop Long has been doing everything he can to live spiritually as well as naturally. He is on a total liquid diet because he cannot digest food at all and even went to see Prophet E. Vernard Jordan for prayer and Spiritual Guidance. While at Jordan’s house, an African Prophet was called to pray and cast out the demonic spirit on Bishop Eddie Long. According to the source, the prophet called the name of a man that was said to have been very close to Bishop Long and may have infected him with a dreadful disease.  

Bishop Long has been admitted to an Atlanta hospital this week where he has been since Monday, and not yet been discharged. The reliable source also stated that the doctors have given Bishop a “date of death” and the only prognosis is to make him comfortable. Being the “sling-shot” fighter that he proclaims he is (we saw how that manifested), Bishop Long is not willing to accept that he is ill and is quoting the scripture that life and death lies in the power of the tongue. Yes, he is quoting scriptures on his death bead with the same tongue he used to perform sexually explicit perks on men instead of his wife, according to the lawsuits filed by four of the five guys that came forward accusing the Bishop of being sexually involved with him.

This report really hurt our heart, but the truth is still the truth!

Bishop Young Boy Booty Licking Eddie Long posted a video discussing his new lean look after his more slender physique apparently caused some of his congregants to worry about his health. Needless to say he looks horrible and more like death walking. For so long we have been accustomed to the big buff preacher in his muscle shirts in the pulpit to this new look. Obnoxious Media readers have been calling, texting, e-mailing, and inboxing for me to give my report on his look.  

 “People are asking, ‘Bishop, what happened to all of you?’” he says in the video, posted to his public Facebook page. “Well, all of me has meelllllted away.”

“I wasn’t going to get (to age 100) by stopping by Popeye’s. That was my weakness,” he says. “The biscuits with honey and chicken wings, spicy.” (They must be good because they reach ‘wang’ status in the video).

He chided people eating from what he called a “slave menu,” saying eating raw vegetables instead has given him more energy and lowered his blood pressure. He has lost weight and no longer has to take blood pressure medication.

“I’m on the medicine that God gave you to feed your immune system to build you up,” he says in the clip. “You know what, if you really want to move through this world and have influence you gotta be spiritual and you have to walk by His commandments and you have to be healthy.”

So here is a man that had five males come forward and tell the world he was involved with them sexually and he still is in the pulpit and no clergy was strong enough to demand him to sit down. Well, if you do not sit yourself down, God will sit you down. Long can try to spin this however he wants, but the world is thinking he might have gotten ahold to some bad Ass. Dude looks like death walking and if he wants to lie to himself and his members and say he looks good then go ahead and by that for a dollar. However, I am not Alice and I do not live in Wonderland. Now with all the advances that have been made in medicine it is hard to think he make have that dreadful disease. Possibly, but most likely not and surely with his deep pockets he could go get some alternative medicine. So believe it or not I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

The old Saints would say you can get by, but you can’t get away and surely your sins will find you out. This sleaze bag sat on Steve Harvey show to say nothing, but tried to justify his horrible actions and the world wants to act like it is okay, but put your time in cause Payday is coming after awhile Eddie’s check might be ready to have his check cashed. It is a slap in the church’s face for him to have written a book and attempt to capitalize off of being accused of one of the most horrible things ever. This man groomed boys to have a stable of young boys for his self gratification. He used thefacade of a nonprofit to assist houng men from terrible situations to become apart of his harem of young boys to have his way with at anytime he wanted. Righteousness exults a nation. But sin is a reproach to any people! Readers you can play with God if you want to, but Judgement is Going to start in the House of God FIRST! Keep playing games with him, but do not forget that God kills too!

New Birth Missionary Baptist Church members and followers of Bishop Eddie L. Long gathered to say farewell to their spiritual leader today.   

Long died Jan. 15, following a battle with an aggressive cancer. He was 63. 

New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, where Long served as pastor, hosted the funeral. 

The “celebration” of Long’s life lasted nearly six hours, with Long’s family, clergy, former Gov. Roy Barnes, Deion Sanders and others delivering tributes.

“The tomb is empty,” he says, referencing the Biblical story of Jesus Christ. “His spirit got up.”

“He died empty, but he finished strong,” she says. “Everything we need to move forward, he put in us. We’re going to get back to the business of ministry. We’re going to serve the community. We’re going to serve others, because that’s what he would do.”
Long jokes that her husband was finally able to fill the balcony again. 

“We can’t get it twisted, it’s not about Bishop Long, it’s about the God that Bishop Long served,” she says. 

Long also praises her children for exhibiting grace during the past six months.

“The work he did speaks for him. The love he gave speaks for him,” she says. “We can’t help but remember his life and all the good he did. We can say ‘he’s still living.’”

The viewing ends. The funeral for Eddie Long is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. New Birth staff is working to enforce phone restrictions. Ushers are ensuring that no one is taking photos or streaming inside the sanctuary.

White vehicles are lined up in a row in front of the church. Eddie Long’s family is expected to enter the sanctuary shortly before the program begins.

Everything Is Going Down, But Tye Word Of God meets Drug Dealers And Killers Strike Again……His Facebook profile lists him as “Prophet Kenneth H. Butler.” The Lucas County Jail website shows him as an active inmate.  Seems that God obviously did not reveal to him he would be arrested.

Kenneth Howard Butler, according to his online profile, is the Senior Pastor at Kingdom Encounter Family Worship Center on Reynolds Rd. in Toledo.

Court records indicate Butler is being held on charges of sex trafficking.
  
He was arrested Wednesday night and is set to be turned over to federal authorities.

Butler’s arrest comes months after the arrest of two other local pastors, Cordell Jenkins and Anthony Haynes.
The two face charges of sex trafficking and child pornography.
It has been discovered that Butler’s case is directly linked to the other two.
  The Toledo pastor arrested last night for sex trafficking waived his preliminary hearing in court Thursday.

Kenneth Howard Butler, 37, is in custody of the FBI following his arrest. He will have a detention hearing October 12.
Butler is a pastor at Kingdom Encounter Family Worship Center on Reynolds Road.
Butler’s arrest comes months after the arrest of two other local pastors, Cordell Jenkins and Anthony Haynes, who were also charged with sex crimes. Authorities confirm all three cases are connected.
According to federal court documents, a 15-year-old girl says she met Butler at Haynes church in Toledo. The girl says Butler talked the girl in the church parking lot, expressing interest in having sex with her. Court documents show another church member approached the pair, interrupting the conversation.
The girl says Butler drove her to work and to Butler’s church in Detroit, Mich. At the age of 16, the girl says Butler had sex with her. She says Butler placed money in the center console of his car for her.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Morehouse Brother and friend Kenneth Moales, Jr. is in need of our help and support in preserving his father’s legacy.  The late Bishop Kenneth Moales gave his life to build this work and  did not live six months after the mega church Cathedral of The Holy Spirit was built.  Now in the hands of his son, Kenneth Moales, Jr., who is not the pastor, has dedicated himself to keep his father’s work alive.  Kenny is asking all his friends and those that will support to donate $20 to go towards the $150,000 needed by Monday.  It is not to late!

Religious leaders in Bridgeport announced Saturday that one of the biggest churches in the city is shutting down next week.Church officials say the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit on Union Avenue is in foreclosure and the bank will take possession of the building. According to former Bishop Kenneth Moales’ wife, the church is in need of $150,000 by Monday to keep the bank from foreclosing on the church.
Officials say, as it stands now, the bank is scheduled to take possession of the church and shut it down in a matter of days.
The shutdown means that not only will the church’s doors close for good, but so will its many programs that support the community.
Local leaders allege the bank involved has a well-established history of engaging in predatory lending practices and in foreclosing on a disproportionate number of minority churches across the region.

Officials say the church’s founder, Bishop Moales, had a reputation worldwide as an ecclesiastical visionary who worked for decades to build consensus and credibility in the African-American community. When he died in 2010, President Barack Obama even noted him for his spiritual leadership and deep commitment to serving people in need.East End leader Ernie Newton, who now leads the parish, says the church is the victim of predatory lending practices by the bank.
“We’re going to ask our state reps and our senators to look into this institution,” Newton said. “From my understanding is in the process on closing on a black church in New Haven, they’ve done it in Houston, they’ve done it all around the country.”

Bishop Moales’ son, Pastor Kenneth Moales, will hold a special service at the church Monday at 6 p.m. to explain the situation to parishioners and any members of the public who would like to attend.
The bank did not respond to News 12’s request for comment.
